- Alsou has announced she wants to have her own e-mail. She promised to put it on the cover of her new album which is planned to October 2002.
- The FHM Journal announced the list of the most sexiest girls of the planet. Alsou is 19th.
- Some weeks ago the russian news agencies announced that Alsou's father, Ralif Safin, the vice-president of the largest russian oil company "LUKOIL" & the president of "LUKOIL Europe Holdings Ltd." was dismissed by the head of company. The company refuted this gossip. Alsou was in London when her mother called her to tell everything. Alsou: "I lose my head. But then I decided to fly to Moscow to be with papa. Our family always gets together in difficult life moments. Father is upset, it's a strike on his reputation. Mama is upset too. I have brought the new photos of London which I had made to divert her from bad thoughts. You know, my father was very upset to know about this gossip. There can be no talk about his dismissal. Papa already knows who distributed this gossip. I will support him. The main fact is I'm with him."
- The photos that Alsou has brought from London were taken by the last model camera "Nicon" which was given her by her parents. Her mother says: "Our daughter always wanted to be a photographer. We bought her a camera & laid it near her bed. You should have seen her joy! She started to take photos of everything around. Our father even joked that now our daughter will earn money by selling the scandal photos of our family."
- 1st of June Alsou sang in Kiev (Ukraine). The public gave her tons of flowers & toys. Alsou performed 9 songs, incl. "Solo", "BYLM", "Teardrops" & "Vsyo Ravno".
- Alsou's ex-producer Valery Belotserkovsky launched his new project - a girl group called "Love Stories".
