Geography is an area containing the names of all countries & cities concerned with Alsou.

• Bugulma - the town in Republic Tatarstan (Russia), where Alsou was born. It's population is about 100 000 people. 27th of June 2000 (Alsou's birthday) a spectacular Alsou's show has taken place on the main town square. That day Alsou was named "Honorary Citizen of Bugulma". The town has a supermarket & petroleum station named "Alsou".
• England - the country where Alsou lives since she was 10 years old. She was alone there, cried & missed her family. At one moment she asked her parents to let her return to Russia. but there she realized it's even more dull than England. She went back to England & entered her architecture college. England gave 10 points to Alsou at "Eurovision". England is the first european country where "Before You Love Me" was rotated.
• Germany - the second country where "Before You Love Me" was rotated.
• Kogalym - a town on the north of Russia where Alsou spent her childhood.
• London - Alsou lives there since 10 years old. This is what she said when she studied in MPW College: "The weather is awful - very depressive. And very dull. Look: I wake up half past seven, then I go to my lessons & stay there until 6 PM. Then I come back home, do my homework, watch TV or video, talk the phone, read magazines & go to bed. And so is every my day. On sundays I usually go with my friends to cinema, cafes, discothecs." Alsou likes a bohema life of britain capital. Her favorite parts of London are West End & Picadilly Circus.
• Moscow - you won't believe it but Alsou has never had her solo performance in the capital of Russia (the concert is planned to October 2002). Alsou has a 6 room apartments given by her parents as a birthdaay present. And Alsou's old piano stands there.
• Moskva - on the bank of this river Alsou's brother wedding has taken place. She was asked to sing by her father. The girl sat at the grand piano to play & sing "I Will Always Love You". The guests were astonished by the talented Marat's sister. Among the guests there was her future producer Valery Belotserkovsky.
• Monte-Carlo - the city in Monaco, on the coast of Middleearth sea. The ceremony of awarding the best selling artists is held there annually. Alsou should have taken her prize in 2000, but she performed at "Eurovision" & the prize was given to another russian singer. But Alsou went to Monte-Carlo in May 2002 as "The Best Selling Russian Artist" & performed "Before You Love Me".
• Sopot - a town on the south of Poland where the annual music festival is held. Alsou was a headliner on the 38th festival, which took place in the "Forest Opera" (3000 spectators). The other guest stars were Lou Bega & UB-40. Alsou performed both russian & english songs. She gave interviews to polish channel TVP1 & Polish Radio 1 (where "Before You Love Me" reached 2nd place).
• St-Petersburg - this city is often called a north capital of Russia. There Alsou first gave her solo performances on the territory of Russia in 2000 (during 1999 she performed in Ukraine & Belarus). And 11th of January 2002 she presented her chistmas show in St-Petersburg.
• Stockholm - the capital of Sweden where "Eurovision-2000" was held. Alsou spent there 5 days of repetitions & performance. Her parents lived & worried in "Grand Hotel" in the centre of Stockholm. Alsou & the members of russian gelegation lived in "Globen Arena Hotel".
• Ufa - the town in Russia where Alsou's performance was watched by 120 000 (!!!) people.
• Volga - the great russian river. Alsou had a great tour on this river after "Eurovision". On the photo you can see her on the motor ship which brought Alsou & her command from town to town.
• Venice - an italian water city, where Alsou's russian video on "Osen" ("Autumn") was shooted. How did she feel! The temperarute was about 40 C degrees, she was in the black cotton dress (according to the scenario) in this heat... At the end of the day she has just stepped from the boat & laid down on the ground until she felt better... But the video is amazing.
• Uyandyk - a small village in Russia where Alsou's grandparents live. They are very religious people. Alsou's grandmother teached her to pray. When Alsou visits the village she talks to mulla.
• Frankfurt - the city in Germany where the "MTV Europe Music Awards" ceremony was held.
• Chezh Republic - the country where Alsou's second russian video "Vesna" ("Spring") was shot.
